Industry recognition for Firebird at the annual CIPR PRide Awards
Firebird named as finalists for Outstanding Small Consultancy in 2011
The Firebird team were delighted to reach the finals of the 2011 CIPR PRide Awards. These annual awards organised by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations recognise excellence in PR and communications across the UK. Firebird was nominated from a field of over 1,000 entries in the Thames and Chiltern region as one of three agencies competing for one of the top awards as Outstanding Small Consultancy.
As Jane Wilson, CEO of CIPR, the professional body for the public relations industry explains: "The CIPR PRide Awards represent the best, most creative and most effective public relations work across the UK and to get to this stage in the competition is a great achievement. The judging process is rigorous with a national panel of industry experts assessing the shortlisted entries and choosing the winners."
"Awards like these are particularly important to us as PR practitioners," says Firebird's MD Jane Bevan, "not only because we are being judged by our peers, but also because of the message it conveys to our clients."
